The Carol Concert

Due to the wonderful generosity of the audience at the carol concert a total of £520 was collected for our chosen charities: PostPals and Myeloma UK. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL

"A Night at the Opera" 9th July 2011

Our concert held at Holy Trinity Church, Cliftonville on Saturday 9th July 2011 included choruses from:

Handel "Alcinda",
Mozart "Cosi Fan Tutti" and "Idomeneo",
Donizetti "Lucia di Lammermoor",
Rossini " Guillaume Tell",
Bizet "Carmen",
Verdi "Nabucco" and "La Traviata",
Wagner "Tannhauser" and
Strauss " Die Fledermaus".

There were also wonderful solo performances from Louise Alder (Soprano)Laura Wright (Mezzo Soprano) David Knight (Tenor) and Jonathan Stirland (Bass). The evening was supported by the accomplished Pianist Patrick Dunn.
