This page will be updated as often as necessary. If you have any notices you wish to publish to other choir members please let the website editor, Paula Trewin MBE, know.
The concert was a complete sell-out and success. A big thank you to everyone involved in front, and behind, the scenes.
BOOKMARKS
We have had 300 bookmarks printed with information about the Choir and details of our 2011/2012 concert programme. These will be available at rehearsals. Please give them to friends and relatives and to anyone who you think might be interested in our concerts. The idea is that if people have the information on bookmarks which they will (hopefully) use and see frequently they will be reminded to come to our concerts.

CHIMAY VISIT
Proposed visit to Chimay: The dates proposed for our visit to Chimay, Belgium (Chimay is twinnned with Ramsgate) are 6th-8th July 2012. The idea is that we will perform half of a concert, using elements from our summer concert the previous week, and the Chimay choir will perform the other half. This weekend is an important festival weekend in Chimay ("La Jurade Princiere")and we would be 'integrated into' the festivities!
During our last visit we were made most welcome, wined and dined royally and given tours of the town and surrounding countryside. We went by coach and ferry, and were put up by the people of Chimay. It was a most enjoyable and relatively inexpensive weekend.
Pleas contact Malcolm Bruce if you are interested. Approximate cost per person for the coach will be in the region of £65.00.
